A study recently published by the authoritative medical journal the lancet found that the average height growth rate of children and adolescents aged 5-19 in China and South Korea was the fastest from 1985 to 2019.

At present, the average height of 19-year-old men and women in China is 175.7 cm and 163.5 cm respectively, which is higher than that of men 175.5 cm and women 163.2 cm in South Korea, ranking first in East Asia.

Globally,The highest average height of 19-year-old men and women is the Netherlands, 183.8 cm and 170.4 cm, respectively.
