According to foreign media CNET, Mariachi is a typical folk music in Mexico and has become a symbol of Mexican culture. It is a musical accompaniment to the most important moments in Mexican people's lives to celebrate joy and sadness. To celebrate the incomparable ensemble of trumpets, guitars and violins, Google created a music and animation doodle on Tuesday to celebrate the birth of Mariachi. Doodle features Mariachi's classic Serenade cielto Lindo, roughly translated into "lovely sweetheart.".
The musicians wore Mexican jeans, including tights, short jackets and wide brimmed hats decorated with embroidery and gold or silver buttons.
At weddings, birthdays and funerals, Mariachi is often played. It can be heard in squares in Mexico and the southwestern United States, from El Paso, Texas, to Los Angeles.
