Today, Microsoft announced some improvements to the Xbox family settings application. First of all, the most notable improvement is the ability to pause screen time, which Microsoft says is one of the most requested features by parents.Parents can set screen time, but if the child needs to finish homework or eat on the way, they can stop on the way. When the parents press the pause button, the children will be informed of "your screen time is up".
Another new feature, called ask to buy, is less important. Parents can give their children the right to buy things. If a child needs to buy games, extensions, etc. beyond their rights, they can make a request to their parents. The parent will then receive a notification with an option to allow the purchase.
