Today, Microsoft released kb4598298 optional feature update for windows 10 version 1909. It doesn't download or install automatically, and only works with version 1909. However, the changes in this optional update will also be sent to windows 10 version 2004 / 2009 later this month.

If your device is compatible with the update, you will see the update "2021-01 cumulative update preview for windows 10 version 1909 for x64 based systems (kb4598298)". Note, however, that this is an optional update and you can skip the installation as needed.

According to the update log, this optional update fixes the strange error of "the directory name is invalid". According to the change log, users will encounter this problem when they try to open a document fixed on the desktop as a shortcut. In addition, the update also fixed the problem that the right-click online zip file could not extract the file.
