Microsoft will release two new versions of office later this year: Office 2021 for consumers and office LTSC for commercial customers.

Among them, office 2021 is similar to office 2019, which is mainly suitable for users who like to buy Microsoft 365 at one time rather than monthly subscription. Later this year, office 2021 will be available on windows and Mac OS.

In terms of functions, both office 2021 and office LTSC will add night mode, barrier free optimization, dynamic array and xlookup in Excel. In addition, both versions of office will be available with OneNote and support 32-bit and 64 bit versions.

Microsoft also promised to launch another permanent version of office in the future, but it is still determining the price and related technical support.
