The multi carrier enhancement technology introduced by nb-iot R14 standard adds the function of paging and random access on non anchor carrier, which makes the network better support large connection and reduce the conflict probability of random access, which can improve the network capacity more efficiently.
This joint test is based on the commercial module of MediaTek mt2625. In this test environment, taking the 300KB download of FOTA file as an example, under the excellent point, the three carrier can achieve 100 terminals to complete services in an average of 8 minutes (under the same conditions, the single carrier can achieve about 30 terminals services). NB IOT three carrier cell is about 3.3 times the service capacity of single carrier cell, which can effectively support the subsequent large concurrent services of narrowband mobile Internet of animals.
