In the newly discovered No. 5 pit, a large number of gold products, including a unique gold mask, were unearthed from the Sanxingdui archaeological excavation.
From the exposed pictures,Compared with the gold masks unearthed in pits 1 and 2 of Sanxingdui site, the newly unearthed gold masks are particularly thick and distinctive.
Sanxingdui ancient site is located on the South Bank of duck in the northwest of Guanghan City, Sichuan Province, covering an area of 12 square kilometers. It has a history of 5000 to 3000 years. It is the largest, longest lasting and most abundant cultural site of ancient city, ancient country and ancient Shu in Southwest China. At present, there are the best preserved East, West and south walls and the inner wall of Moon Bay.
Among them, the unearthed cultural relics are precious human cultural heritage. Among the cultural relic groups in China, they are one of the cultural relic groups with the most historical, scientific, cultural and artistic values and rich ornamental value.
