Every year after the launch of the new generation of iPhones, there are news that they are not selling well. Apple has cut down orders, and the performance of supply chain enterprises has declined. However, the iPhone 12 generation has really turned over, and the performance of Foxconn, which is responsible for OEM, has skyrocketed.

Today, Foxconn released its Q1 financial report for 2021. In March, Hon Hai's revenue was NT $441.2 billion, up 9.78% month on month and 26.91% year on year.

In the whole Q1 quarter, Hon Hai's revenue reached NT $1.34 trillion (about US $47 billion), up 44% year on year.

Foxconn's performance surge is closely related to Apple's iPhone. Analysts said that the strong revenue growth of Hon Hai Precision in the first quarter was mainly due to the strong demand of 5g iPhone and other networking devices.

During the outbreak, consumers rushed to buy devices for telework, home education and entertainment, resulting in strong demand for devices such as iPhones, game consoles and servers.

At the same time, enterprises also invest in technology to expand data center infrastructure to better serve customers' online activities.
