On June 21, Xiaomi announced that in the top 100 most valuable global brands of brandz in 2021, Xiaomi was selected for three consecutive years, and this year's ranking rose to 70, up 11.
Brandz's top 100 most valuable global brands list is jointly released by WPP, the world's largest communication service group, and Kaidu, the world's leading research institute. The research objects cover more than 17500 brands in 51 markets.
Xiaomi has been selected into brandz's top 100 most valuable global brands since 2019, ranking 81 last year and 70 this year.
Before that, Xiaomi group had been listed on Fortune 500 in succession. Taking the Fortune 500 in 2020 as an example, Xiaomi continued to be classified as Internet and retail enterprises in the list, ranking seventh among the global Internet enterprises in 2020. Meanwhile, Amazon, alphabet, Facebook, Jingdong, Alibaba and Tencent were also listed on the list.
On May 26, Xiaomi group released its Q1 financial report for 2021,The total income reached RMBseven hundred and sixty-nineRMB100mn, a year-on-year increase of 54.7%.The adjusted net profit reached RMBsixty-oneRMB100mn, with a year-on-year growth of 163.8%, both revenue and profit reached a record high in a single quarter.
Xiaomi has also made an important breakthrough in the high-end market. The three high-end models released in March 2021, including mix fold, Xiaomi 11 ultra and Xiaomi 11 pro, have achieved excellent sales results.
