Sergei Kostenko, head of the Russian office of SPACE Adventures, a US space tourism company, said a soyuz flight would cost about $50 million, Sputnik news agency reported.
"The price is almost the same, about $50 million," Kostenko said during a lecture on "Fyodor Yurchikhin's Space Journey" at the all-Russia exhibition, the report said.
Kostenko noted that the launch of SpaceX's Crew Dragon program has not affected Soyuz ticket prices.
"There are tourists who want to be able to walk in space, but it will only be available in 2023 or 2024," Kostenko said. While the spacewalk program will not significantly affect the cost of space travel, it will cost millions of dollars."
According to previous reports, a total of eight people have flown on a Soyuz spacecraft, including one space tourist who has blasted off twice. The next trip will take place in December and will include two tourists.
