Cui Dongshu pointed out that from January to August 2021, the world's new energy passenger car sales of 3.35 million units, China's new energy passenger car world share of 50%.

China sold 321,000 new energy vehicles in August, up 181.9 percent year-on-year and 18.6 percent month-on-month, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

According to statistical analysis by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, new energy vehicle production and sales completed 309,000 units and 321,000 units respectively in August, an increase of 1.8 times over the same period last year. Among them, pure electric vehicle production and sales completed 252,000 units and 265,000 units, respectively, an increase of 1.9 times YoY;

In addition, from January to August, new energy vehicle production and sales reached 1.813 million units and 1.799 million units, respectively, an increase of 1.9 times year-on-year, with a cumulative sales penetration rate of nearly 11%.
