October 13 at 22:49 pm Beijing time,Bezos' Blue Origin completed its second space travel mission at launch site 1 in West Texas.
The New Shepard NS-18 aircraft, which was carrying four passengers, reportedly began landing at a peak of about 107 kilometers above the ground and returned to the ground under parachute cushioning. The flight lasted 10 minutes and 17 seconds.
The four passengers are understood to include Captain Kirk in the US sci-fi series Star Trek, William Middot, 90; Shatner, Blue Origin's vice president of space launch missions and flight operations; Bowles, former NASA engineer Chris Middot; Boshey and entrepreneur Glenn Middot; and DeFries.
It's worth mentioning thatShatner broke the record set by 82-year-old Wally Middot, the oldest space tourist ever to enter space, on his last Blue Origin space flight.
On July 20, the New Shepard completed its first manned space test flight, with four people, including Blue Origin founder and former Amazon CEO Jeff Middot and Bezos, taking part.
In addition to Blue Origin, companies such as SpaceX, owned by Tesla CEO Musk, and Virgin Galactic are also actively developing space vehicles to preempt commercial space tourism.
In September, SpaceX's "All-Civilian" space "travel group" successfully returned to Earth after orbiting the Earth for about three days.
Since the mission was not accompanied by a professional astronaut in the strict sense of the term,It was thus promoted as "the first manned space mission carried out entirely by civilians".
