At the end of 2020, Shanghai Light Source completed the processing and testing of all parts of the prototype. In August 2021, the Shanghai light source completed the integrated and offline testing of the entire machine, and on November 12, the research team conducted a beam flow test.

The test results show that the insulation effect of the beam heat load at 200mA flow strength is expected, the current load of the excitation coil exceeds 350A, and the equivalent peak magnetic field is about 0.57T.
