On November 19, Tesla's official website in China showed that the domestic Model 3 rear-wheel drive version sold for 15,000 yuan to 250,900 yuan, and the range was increased from 468 kilometers (NEDC conditions) to 556 kilometers (CLTC conditions), while the 100-kilometer acceleration was reduced from 5.6 seconds to 6.1 seconds.
This is the second price increase in the domestic Model 3, which rose 1,000 yuan to 250,900 yuan in May, but cut prices by another 15,000 yuan to 235,900 yuan in July. According to the official website, delivery is currently in the first quarter of next year. Domestic Model 3 performance version has not increased in price.
It is understood to be Tesla's sixth price increase this year. Earlier, Musk said at his October shareholder meeting that Tesla had to raise car prices slightly because of a shortage of chips, but hoped it would be temporary.
On March 24th Tesla raised the price of its Model Y full-line model by 8,000 yuan; in July, the Model S and Model X long-range versions were priced by 30,000 yuan; and in August, the two models were priced up by 30,000 yuan The price of the model was raised by another 30,000 yuan, the model Y Performance high-performance version was raised by another 10,000 yuan on September 11th, and the model S and Model X long-range version price was raised by another 30,000 yuan on October 27th.
