JD Power's latest survey data is out, this time the us Home Router Satisfaction Report 2021, in which Asus remains the no. 1.

The latest survey found that U.S. customers' satisfaction with their routers in 2021 was 884, up from 826 in 2020. The biggest gain in this category came from increased satisfaction with wi-fi range, which jumped 20 points from last year.

Among the major router manufacturers rated, Asustek ranked first in customer satisfaction, with an average score of 859. Tp-link was next with 855 points while Arris took the bronze with 853 points.

Ian Greenblatt, MANAGING Director of JD Power, noted that 2020 was a tough year for the industry, with millions of people suddenly working, studying and socialising from home every day because of the COVID-19 pandemic. That pushed home Wi-Fi hardware to its limits and led to a decline in router satisfaction in 2020, greenblatt said, but scores began to trend back up.

Greenblatt explains: “ Customers are now settling in and appreciating their wireless connections. The results also showed an increase in customer service satisfaction, meaning that customer service reps were doing a good job solving customer problems. .
