Porsche (China) Auto Sales Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation, according to the State Administration for Market Regulation. Starting from December 10, 2021, a total of 19 imported Taycan series pure electric vehicles manufactured between June 18, 2020 and November 10, 2020 will be recalled.

As IT Home has learned,In the manufacturing process of some vehicles covered by this recall, the screw connection between the control arm on the rear axle and the rear axle and wheel bearing housing may not meet the specified tightening requirements.Loose thread connection may lead to relative displacement of suspension components and abnormal noise may occur when the vehicle is running. If the thread connection fails, it will lead to sudden driving instability, affect the vehicle's handling, increase the risk of vehicle accidents, and there are hidden safety hazards.


Porsche (China) Auto Sales Co., Ltd. will inspect the recalled vehicles free of charge through authorized dealers, and replace the nuts and bolts on the rear axle control arm thread connections that do not meet the specified tightening requirements and tighten them to the original specifications. In addition, the surrounding parts will be checked for indirect damage and the damaged parts will be replaced according to the inspection results to eliminate potential safety hazards.
