Samsung is expected to release its annual flagship Galaxy S22 series in February 2022, with the Super-large Galaxy S22 Ultra continuing the 100 megapixel scheme found on the Galaxy S21 Ultra. It will be the only 100-megapixel ultra-high-end flagship in 2022.
Notably, Samsung's 2023 Galaxy S23 Ultra is expected to use 200 megapixels developed by Samsung.
The ISOCELL HP1 sensor has a 1/1.22-inch super base and 0.64μm pixel area. It can take 50 megapixel photos with 4 pixels in 1.
The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will also be one of the first flagships to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen2.
As usual, Samsung's Galaxy S23 series will debut in early 2023.
