The Google Pixel Fold (codenned Pipit) has arrived on Geekbench with a Tensor chip.
Pixel Fold's Geekbench 4 runs 4851 single-core and 11442 multi-core, comes with 12GB of RAM and runs Android 12.
IT Home has learned that Google's Rumored Pixel Fold will have an LTPO OLED display. IT will also have Samsung's foldable display technology, a 7.6-inch in-fold display, and will have its own Tensor chip.
But according to a previous report by analyst DisplaySearch, the device probably won't be released anytime soon. According to the report, Google has canceled component orders for the phone, realizing the device can't compete with Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold/Flip because it offers neither pen support nor under-screen camera support, and Samsung has vertical integration advantages and economies of scale, so the Pixel Fold may not be profitable.
