According to Samsung Display, QD Display, which will start mass production at the end of November 2021, has passed three SGS certifications. QD Display is rich and accurate in presenting colors in nature, allowing users to enjoy clear and bright pictures at any location and from any Angle.
According to Samsung, THE QD Display's color reproducibility -- the gamut that can be displayed at certain brightness levels -- is more than 90% better than the BT2020 color gamut, as assessed by SGSThe color volum of QD Display is 120% based on DCI-P3, which is certified as True Color Tones.
When displaying RGB (red, green, and blue) primary colors, THE QD Display was evaluated as "a Display that can accurately Display the primary colors without losing brightness," and was certified by SGS as "Pure RGB Luminance."
The QD Display has also been certified by SGS as Ultrawide Viewing Angle, which allows for a good Viewing experience at any location when viewed by multiple people.
