Both IPC and frequency will be improved, and it is expected to win back the core and game performance that was surpassed by the 12th Generation Core.
Along with the CPU upgrade, AMD will also introduce a new 600 series chipset, including the X670, B650 and the entry-level A620. The X670 is said to be dual-core,But now there's X670E, where E stands for “ Extreme” , higher positioning, the flagship of the game platform.
The X670E motherboard will also only support PCIe 5.0, which is different from PCIe 4.0 on the X670. There will also be some core overclocking features, but details are unknown.
