Windows 11's Sun Valley 2 (version 22H2) will be launched this fall, one of the biggest changes is to launch the TAB tab of the resource manager.
At present, it has been launched for preview users,The TAB tab can allow users to better manage the files. It also introduces a new layout of the left navigation pane. Users can easily navigate to important folders.
What is surprising is,After the measured, compared with the original resource manager, there are fewer memory used by the file resource manager supporting the TAB tab page.
For example, if a new label page is activated, the process resource manager process will only add a few MB of memory occupation. This improvement will be particularly useful for users who have multiple instances/windows habits that open the file resource manager.
Although the update is being launched in stages, Microsoft may still further enhance the performance of the file resource manager. When Windows 11 22H2 is launched in the autumn, it is expected that everyone will immediately get this function.
After the File Explorer Sidebar is updated, you can easily access fixed and commonly used folders (fast access) and the OneDrive cloud configuration file added to Windows.
