Official release of the second International Standard for unmanned aerial Vehicle (UAV) in China

This is following the release of ISO 2185:2020, the first China-led international standard in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVS), Classification and Classification Requirements, in February 2020.The second international standard for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is led and officially issued by China。

The Sub-Technical Committee on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (ISO/TC20 / SC16) of the Technical Committee on Aerospace and Spacecraft of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO/TC20 / SC16) initiated the project in November 2019 and took nearly three years to publish.
The general requirements for mooring uav system stipulated the mooring uav system composition, function, performance, and other general requirements, airborne surveillance system, motivation and electrical system, power transmission system, the ground control station and other detailed requirements, and ground support and test validation requirements, can be practical and guiding mooring uav systems and components of the development, production, test and use.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, at present, China still has "Civil Multi-rotor UAV system Test Method", "Civil light and small multi-rotor UAV flight control system General Requirements" and "UAV perception and Collision avoidance system" in ISO TC20 / SC16Eleven international standards are being compiled and will be released in succession according to procedures。
