According to a new prediction from Counterpoint Research,The global fold-screen smartphone market is set to grow 73 per cent to 16m units this year from 9m last year.
The surge in fold-screen phones is due to resilient high-end markets and steady demand, which have defied economic headwinds to achieve strong growth.
The trend is set to continue, with Counterpoint predicting strong growth next year as well, predicting that foldable phones will grow to 26 million units by 2023.
