Global e-commerce revenue is expected to shrink year-on-year for the first time in 2022, down 2.5% from 2021, due to supply chain issues and inflation. The global e-commerce industry will need to overcome two major hurdles -- a widely anticipated global recession and the ensuing rise in unemployment -- before it can finally get back on track.
