Today, blogger iBingCosmos revealed on social media that the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra camera alignment is 100% identical to the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra will have four cameras, a laser focus module and an LED flash.

If the Galaxy S23 Ultra continues with the cut-out screen solution, then the overall shape of the high-end flagship will be basically the same as the Galaxy S22 Ultra, and Samsung will have to make single breakthroughs in details such as color matching to differentiate the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

In terms of core configuration, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will all use Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chip, which is built based on TSMC 4NM technology and adopts the new "1+2+2+3" eight-core architecture design, abandoning the "1+3+4" three-cluster architecture on Snapdragon 8+.

It is reported that the super large core of Snapdragon 8 Gen2 is upgraded to Cortex X3, the large core is upgraded to Cortex A715, and the small core is still Cortex A510.

Cortex X3 and Cortex A715 are upgraded versions of Cortex X2 and Cortex A710, respectively. Both are 64-bit cores. And Arm has dropped the AArch32 instruction set on both the Cortex-X3 and Cortex-A715, which means a full shift to 64-bit architecture.

Cortex X3 improves performance by 22% and IPC by 11% over Cortex X2. The Cortex A715 delivers 5% more performance and 20% more energy efficiency for the same power level and manufacturing process as the Cortex A710.

Arm says the Cortex A715 has reached the performance level of the Cortex X1, and when paired with an improved small core, it will be useful for mid-range processors.

This chip will be the standard Android flagship in 2023. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra will be one of the first Snapdragon 8 Gen2 flagships. This will be the iPhone of the Android camp in 2023, which is worth looking forward to.
