Ahead of the official launch of Huawei's Mate 50 series on September 6, the company has added a new device to the network that could be released on the same platform.
According to the certification information, the new device should be a brand new version of the P50 Pocket, the specific model is BAL-AL80, in contrast, the old P50 Pocket model is BAL-AL00.

Other parameters are basically consistent with P50 Pocket, but there are some obvious changes in appearance.

It's unclear whether Huawei will launch a do-it-yourself design similar to Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip4, giving users the freedom to create their own unique phone by choosing their own color scheme.
As for other hardware, the new P50 Pocket is basically the same as the old version. The main screen is a 6.9-inch folding flexible OLED screen with a 21:9 screen ratio. It has a 120Hz high brush, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and supports 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
In terms of image, it adopts a three-camera combination of 40 megapixel main camera, 13 megapixel ultra-wide Angle camera and 32 megapixel hyperspectral camera, and adds XD Fusion Pro technology to make the image more natural.
