According to the Hong Kong Economic Daily, the latest documents disclosed that Tencent's major shareholder of South Africa and its Internet investment company Prosus have reduced their holdings over 3.9 million shares in the first half of the year.
As of the end of June, Naspers and its PROSUS's latest Tencent holding a shareholding of about 28.74%, a total of 2.765 billion shares, a decrease of 3.9159 million shares from the end of last year. Based on the latest market price of HK $ 324.6, Naspers and PROSUS were worth 897.65 billion Hong Kong dollars.
