At this week's HDC2022 Huawei Developer Conference, HarmonyOS 3.1 and HarmonyOS 4 were officially confirmed, and the early version of HarmonyOS 3.1 was pushed to developers.

From the perspective of the system, Huawei seems to have given a clear indication that next year's phone is very likely to return to the dual flagship strategy.

Among them, the Hongmeng 3.1 system, which will be in full operation in March next year, will be launched on Huawei P60 series, and the Hongmeng 4.0 system in the second half of the year, corresponding to the Mate 60 series.

In fact, for a long time, Huawei has always released two flagship phone series a year. In the first half of the year, the P series was the main image, and in the second half, the Mate was the main performance and new technology. But 2021 was an exception, with Huawei only launching the P50 series in the second half of the year.

Little is known about the P60 and Mate 60 series. A recent folk rendering showed thatThe P60 and P60 Pro are basically similar in appearance, mainly due to differences in screen and camera.

Among them, the P60 Mona Lisa uses a micro-curved screen with a central hole and a double-ring camera module on the back. The main shot is upgraded with 64 million pixels and a new generation of Xmage Huawei image technology.

As for the system, Hongmeng 3.1 has done a lot of optimization work on the underlying API, and the experience of the final public beta and even the official version is worth looking forward to.

According to the data of the three parties, Huawei mobile phone sales picked up in the third quarter of this year, with the shipment of 8.6 million units, a year-on-year growth of 48.3% and a quarter-on-quarter growth of 34.4%. Thanks to the launch of Mate 50 series and other new products, the total smartphone shipments in the Chinese market grew by 6% in the third quarter from the previous quarter.
