With the RX 7900 series set to go on sale on Dec. 13, Amazon France has decided to bring Sapphire's AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card to the shelves early, with a listing price of 1,319 euros, or $1,391 in U.S. dollars.
Given Europe's prevailing VAT rate of around 20 per cent, the final price should be closer to $1,200, but not 20 per cent higher, but 40 per cent higher than the suggested retail price, which is the norm in Europe.
The AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card uses the full Navi 31 XTX GPU, which features a total of 48 WGPs, 96 CU and 6,144 cores. The graphics card's core clock stays at a 2.3GHz base clock and a 2.5GHz lift clock, delivering 61 TFLOPs of computing performance at a 355W TBP.
In addition, the new graphics card will carry six MCDS, each with 16MB of unlimited cache, for a total of 96MB on a 384-bit wide bus interface. The card has a 24GB VRAM capacity and provides 960GB/s bandwidth (Infinity Cache is 3.5TB/s).
If the early supply is not good, the RTX 4080 will not be in a hurry to reduce the price??
