The AMD RX 7900 XT/XTX graphics cards are scheduled to go on sale on December 13, with public MSRPS of $899 and $999, respectively.
In the past, benchmark scores from GeekBench, Blender, and even 3DMark exposure have shown the RX 7900 XT/XTX to be slightly lower than the RTX 4080, with some scores being so far apart that it seems to have confused some players.
A few days ago, a number of so-called RX 7900 XT/XTX 4K game measured results steal first run.
In short,The performance of RX 7900 XTX in all seven games is equal to that of RTX 4080. Note not just the average instantaneous frame count in screenshots, but the 1% LOW and 0.1% LOW. In Horizon: Dawn, the RX 7900 XT even significantly outperforms the RTX 4080.
Red Dead Redemption seems to be an exception, however, with the RTX 4080 scoring particularly low and the 7900 XT being better than the XTX, which seems to have some optimization issues.
Media reviews of RX 7900 series graphics cards will be released on Friday evening. Please look forward to detailed reports.
