The AMD graphics card RX 7900 XTX will be released on December 13. IGN gave the card a 7 out of 7 rating, saying it has a good price performance but poor optical tracking performance.
IGN Rating: 7
As long as you don't care too much about ray tracking, the RX 7900 XTX offers a good value for money compared to Nvidia graphics.
IGN's general review:
The RX 7900 XTX, with its strong RDN3 performance, offers a good price/performance ratio compared to the Nvidia 40 Series graphics card, but Nvidia has a strong advantage in ray tracing and DLSS, and the gap is wide.
But AMD's FSR technology has closed some of the gap. If you're looking for better visuals and performance, consider Nvidia, and if you're looking for value for money, AMD is definitely better.
The RX 7900 XTX, with 96 CU units, is theoretically equivalent to up to 12,488 stream processors and has a whopping 61TFLOPS. The previous generation RX 6950 XT recorded 23TFLOPS, a 2.7-fold jump.
The RX 7900 XTX is 384Bit wide with 20GHz GDDR6 video memory, which is not as tight on video memory bandwidth as its predecessor.
The RX 7900 XTX is priced at 7,999 yuan, the same as its predecessor RX 6900 XT and 1,500 yuan cheaper than its rival RTX 4080.
