Previously, Microsoft has said that because some devices will be affected by Win11 game performance bugs, will limit the system upgrade function of this part of the device.
Today, Microsoft announced thatGaming performance issues in Win11 have been fixed in the KB5020044 cumulative update, which will officially lift upgrade restrictions on affected devices.
In today's update to the Windows Health Dashboard, the official write-up states
“This issue has been resolved in KB5020044 and protection has been removed as of December 14, 2022. Please note that if your device is not otherwise restricted from upgrades, it will receive the Windows 11 Version 22H2 update within the next 48 hours”.
And according to user feedback, after installing the latest KB5020044 update patch, the bugs previously encountered have been largely restored.
This is certainly good news for players who previously had headaches because of the problem.
