According to Li Yanhong, so far, Flying Propeller has gathered 5.35 million developers, served 200000 enterprises and institutions, created 670000 models based on Flying Propeller, and has built a prosperous deep learning ecology. "Flying Propeller is the operating system of the artificial intelligence era, which allows developers to build AI applications like building blocks, greatly reducing the threshold of AI applications." Li Yanhong said.
Relying on Baidu Flying Propeller, Baidu launched a knowledge-enhanced "Wen Xin" model, which effectively integrates natural language processing, computer vision, intelligent voice and other multimodal capabilities, and can be tuned with a variety of industries and business scenarios, thus getting rid of the traditional AI application fragmentation and workshop development, bringing opportunities for deep learning technology to enter a new stage. According to reports, Baidu Wenxin has released a total of 11 industry models.

According to Li Yanhong, Baidu is one of the few artificial intelligence companies in the world with full stack layout. What is done at present can be divided into four layers: chip layer, frame layer, model layer and application layer. From the high-end chip Kunlun, to the flying oar deep learning framework, and then to the Wenxin pre-training model, there are key self-research technologies at all levels, and there is a lot of feedback between each layer, through continuous feedback to achieve end-to-end optimization.
