Recently, market research agency BCN released the data of camera lens in Japan in 2022: lens sales volume increased by 6.9% year-on-year in 2022, and sales increased by 22.1%.
Among them, the share of mirrorless lens continues to surge, with the share of 59.4% and 68.1% in 2020 and 2021, respectively, and 77.3% in 2022.
In terms of manufacturer share,SONY took the top spot in 2022 with 16.4 percent, ending a 13-year run by Canon (15.9 percent).
After that, Sima (14.5 percent), Tenglong (14.3 percent) and Nikon (13 percent) ranked third to fifth, respectively.
