A few days ago, the benchmark PassMark updated the performance table, in the notebook single-core ladder, Intel Core i9-12900HX was squeezed out of the top three.
For no other reason, Apple's M2 Pro and M2 Max have been released.
Among them, the 12-core M2 Max became the new king with 4322 points, while the 10-core M2 Pro was closely followed with 4233 points.
In terms of single-core running scores, the M2 of 8 cores is 7.4% slower than M2 Max, and the core i9-12900HX is 8% slower than M2 Max.
Of course, in terms of overall performance, M2 Pro/Max is still no match for Core i9-12900HX because of its limited power consumption and multi-threaded scale.
In addition, the dominance of Apple's M2 series chips is also expected to be rewritten after the full release of the 13th generation Core Mobile Edition.
