Why does the United States keep cracking down on Huawei, but we don't do anything to Apple?

In fact, we haven't done anything to Apple since the United States attacked Huawei in 2019, and we probably won't do it next.

So why is that? The reason is very simple, does not need how complicated analysis, bluntly speaking, for the United States, the crackdown on Huawei will not have any loss, will only benefit.

But for us, cracking down on Apple will not be beneficial, there will only be losses, such a simple relationship between gains and losses, we can come to the conclusion that we will not suppress Apple.

Why is it that there is no loss in suppressing Huawei? Because Huawei's products are not made in the United States, nor will they create jobs in the United States.

Some people may think that suppressing Huawei will lead to damage to the US supply chain, but the lost market of Huawei will be taken away by other manufacturers, who will also go to the United States to buy products. For the US supply chain, it is just that the customers have changed. In the end, the impact is not great. The meat is still in the pot.

Therefore, if the United States wants to crack down on Huawei, there will not be much loss. Anyway, there will be some political and economic gains, so it will be suppressed.

But it's not the same when we crack down on Apple. Chinese manufacturers account for 50% of Apple's supply chain. Although these supply chains may not be the core, they contribute a lot of jobs. For example, Foxconn alone has nearly one million employees in China. Apple has enabled these companies to make money, provide jobs and pay taxes at the same time. This is a great contribution.

Therefore, we will not crack down on Apple, on the contrary, China welcomes any law-abiding foreign company and will never crack down for no reason. This is not our style, nor should we do it.
