See you in 2024! AMD Zen5 architecture exposure: performance is a leap compared to Zen4
Previous rumors have pointed out that Zen5 will adopt a hybrid architecture similar to the 13-generation core of Intel 12 Unix for the first time after it was knocked down and started all over again.
The whistleblower RedGamingTech now aggregates the latest news from Zen5 from multiple sources, but does not confirm or falsify the hybrid architecture.
It is reported that a single CCX of Zen 5 can still fit up to eight physical cores. It is reported that a single CCX of Zen 5 can still fit up to eight physical cores.
In terms of IPC (instruction set per clock cycle), Zen 5 has an increase of 2230% compared to Zen 4.
It is worth noting that the cache portion of Zen 5 will be greatly adjusted, with L1 much larger, L2 shared by CCX, and L3 shared by all cores. APU is even more special and L4 will be added.
