Following the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, DXOMARK has released the screen scores for the last two models in the series.
The Galaxy S23 received a total score of 148 in the screen test,Ranked fourth in DXOMARK's global screen rankings, 10 places ahead of the iPhone 14, also a standard version (139 points),Crushed, so to speak.
It is worth noting that the Galaxy S23 received the same score as the flagship Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra for its outstanding screen performance despite being the smallest model in the series.
DXOMARK says the Galaxy S23 has good legibility in most lighting conditions and the video experience is quite excellent.
The Galaxy S23 even outscored the Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy S23+ in the touch subcategory,This is largely due to its smaller screen, which allows it to better manage corner touches.
However, DXOMARK points out that the Galaxy S23 screen has a low flicker frequency and is too bright during night reading.
The Galaxy S23 has a 6.1-inch AMOLED 2X screen,Resolution of 2340*1080 support 48-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, local peak brightness up to 1750nits.
As for the Galaxy S23+, it scored 146 points overall in the DXOMARK screen test, ranking sixth in the global screen rankings.
While the Galaxy S23+ performs well in brightness, it still falls short of the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra, losing points in legibility, lack of detail in the color rendering of the screen in outdoor sunlight, and aliasing artifacts during gaming can affect user experience.
