ChatGPT search was preempted by Microsoft and its internal AI talent was frequently poached by OpenAI.

Google has had its share of internal and external troubles lately.

The latest information to emerge is that Google executives are trying to calm the nerves of their employees.

According to Insider, Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian gave an impassioned internal speech that focused on two words:Don't panic。

The flow of Google talent to OpenAI accelerated

Insider leaked a portion of the transcript. Kurian summed up Google's recent problems in his talk:

Our competitors are shooting at us. That we were behind in the market, that we missed the AI opportunity, that they had new products we didn't have.
