The competition for mobile SoC performance is expected to reach new heights this year.
Max Tech has revealed a GeekBench 6-run score that it claims is the bionic version of Apple's A17, with a high score of 3,986 for single core and 8,841 for multiple core.
Compared to the A16-processor iPhone 14 Pro Max, single-core growth was as high as 59% and multi-core growth was as high as 43%.
Apparently, after three years of squeezing toothpaste out of A14, A15 and A16, Apple had an explosion this time.
Of course, because temporarily unable to trace to the page surface, so the above results to be further evidence.
According to previous leaks, Apple's A17 will be based on Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing 3nm technology, 6 core CPU+5 core GPU design, similar to the previous generation, the A17 will still be exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro series.
Even with recent suggestions that the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 will reach speeds as high as 3.75GHz, it will be hard to beat the A17's potentially terrifying performance bump.
