Recently, AMD, NVIDIA graphics card drivers are not peaceful, make a lot of bugs.
If AMD synchronously updates Windows and restores factory Settings, the system will fail to start.
One of NVIDIA's Container services causes a very high CPU usage, resulting in system delays.
Recently, Osvaldo Doederlein, a software engineer at Google,RX 7900 XTX graphics card using the latest version of the test 3DMark Time Spy, lose almost half of the score.
3DMark officially confirmed the Bug and gave a practical example:
Ryzen 9 5900X partner RX 7900 XTX, the old version of the driver download 3DMark Time Spy can run out24,587 pointsAfter the driver is upgraded, only12,861 points, a reduction of nearly 48 percent.
However, when 3DMark compared the database, it found that only about 3% of users were affected and they were not reproducible.
AMD has reproduced the issue internally and is conducting further research. It has not said anything publicly yet, nor does it know when it will fix it.
So, if you are using RX 7900 XT and need to test 3DMark Time Spy, the only thing you can do at the moment is to roll back to an old video card driver.
