DX10/11 inventor, Hao Long processor father: get AMD technical post the highest title

On March 13, AMD announced the appointment of five Corporate Fellows, the company's top technical job title. Only 13 have been awarded so far.

All five have worked in the semiconductor industry for many years, from graphics to advanced packaging, and have made outstanding innovations.

David Blythe:

Senior graphic architect with over 30 years of experience. That includes 13 years at Intel, where he rose to lead GPU architect, before joining AMD in November 2022. He designed some of the most important graphics apis in the industry for PCS, workstations, smart phones, etc. He is the father of DX10/11/OpenGL ES.

Nathan Kalyanasundharam:

The expert who led the interconnected, modular design of AMD's Infinity Fabric, has been with AMD for over 30 years, is also a member of the CXL/UCLe alliance board and is credited with creating the interconnected architecture behind Frontier, the world's first exascale supercomputer.

In addition, Suresh Ramalingam, a heterogeneous and advanced packaging specialist at Celings for nearly 20 years; Ben Sander, AMD Hao Long processor architecture designer /ROCm Open Platform co-founder; and Celings Fabric AI engine and machine learning software flow Vitis AI Merit expert Ralph Wittig and others.
