On March 16, the first generation 4 Tesla Supercharging pile (V4) was officially put into use in the Netherlands.
It is reported that Tesla V4 overcharged pile adopts a new styling design, longer charging line, easy to charge third-party electric vehicles, can provide higher charging power than the V3 overcharged pile 250kW.
However, the V4 supercharged pile, which was put into use this time, currently only supports Tesla models for charging, and is expected to be opened to other non-Tesla models in the future.
Tesla did not disclose any more information about the V4 supercharged pile. But the V4 overcharged pile nameplate, photographed by local owners, shows a rated voltage of 1,000 volts and a rated current of 615 amps, meaning a theoretical total maximum power output of 600 kW.
At present, it is actually difficult for all Tesla models to support 600kW supercharge power. Therefore, when charging with V4 supercharge pile, the power may be more than 250kW, but it cannot reach such an exaggerated level as 600kW.
