IT House, March 18,Google's "shutdown department," which many netizens have mocked, has taken another step, announcing the shutdown of Project Jacquard, an app created by Google's ATAP team. The project, which went live in 2015, worked with Levis to put touch screens on denim.
The smart jacket is led by Google's ATAP division, which has added a special fabric fabric to the left sleeve for pressure sensing and touch control. With the corresponding App, you can adjust the volume of the headset, change the track or switch to Google Navigation, as well as different functions and Settings through custom gestures.
The button on the left sleeve is the heart of Google's smart jacket, which will provide power, Bluetooth wireless connectivity and touch controls in response to different gestures. Once the button is removed, the Google smart jacket can be thrown into the washing machine for cleaning, without compromising the performance of the touching fabric itself.
Opening the Jacquard companion app now displays the following message, translated by IT Home:
The Jacquard application cannot be started. This may be because you are currently offline or the Jacquard application is no longer available/supported.
