On the morning of March 18, Beijing time, Meta reportedly launched a Twitter-like pay-plus "Blue V" service for its Facebook and Instagram in the United States on Friday, with a monthly fee of $11.99 for the web, while $14.99 for iOS and Android platforms to explore revenue sources other than advertising.
Last year, Twitter launched a paid Blue V certification service after it was acquired by Elon Musk, opening to the public the blue logo, which had previously been limited to politicians and other public figures, for $7.99 a month and $10.99 for iOS in response to "Apple tax" (currently about 76 yuan).
But since then, a large number of Twitter users have posed as celebrities and brands on the platform, forcing the company to suspend the service and reintroduce different color certifications for individuals and public figures.
