Sony A7R5 camera releases Ver.2.00 firmware update on March 30thYou can upgrade through SD card or CFexpress Type A card. The upgrade will take about 6 minutes.

Upgrade content:

1. Added support for Creators App applications to replace previous Imaging Edge Mobile applications.

* Creators App can realize image transmission from camera to smartphone, remote control shooting and various functions.

2. Add the function of improving security when using Creators App or Imaging Edge Desktop for remote control shooting or image transmission.

* Imaging Edge Desktop needs to be updated to the latest version (Ver.3.6 or later).

3. Added the function of using custom keys to toggle the priority focus on human face.

4. The overall stability of the camera is improved.

important! Please make sure that there is only one ldquo;BODYDATA.DAT” file in the storage card. If the memory card has been used for a previous upgrade, use the camera to format the memory card before importing a new firmware file.
