According to internal reference documents outlining Google's strategy to reform its search engine this year, Google plans to put more emphasis on responding to queries that cannot be easily answered through traditional web searches, possibly prompting searchers to ask follow-up questions more frequently or responding to users' queries through visual content such as TikTok videos.
A Google spokesman said the company has been focused on changing the long-term approach to its services, including integrating AI and visual features. "as search develops, providing high-quality information and supporting a healthy, open network will remain at our core".
