Google Colaboratory is adding a new AI-generated code feature to Google Colaboratory, Google has announced.
According to Google,This capability is powered by the new "Vincennes Code" model Codey, which supports more than 20 coding languages,These include Go, Google standard SQL, Java, JavaScript, Python and Typescript.
According to the description, Colab users will be able to enjoy real-time code completion, generation, and interaction with programming dedicated chatbots, improving development efficiency and code quality.
Google's Colab, with its AI-generated code, clearly has a lot in common with Microsoft's Github Copilot,This makes the move seen as a head-on challenge to Microsoft.
The feature will be rolled out gradually over the next few months, with paying users given priority, and then gradually developed to free users.
That will give us a glimpse of the challenger's true strength.
