Mediatek is working with Nvidia to bring Nvidia's graphics technology to its chips.
Mediatek is teaming up with Nvidia to incorporate Nvidia's graphics technology into its chips and is expected to integrate Nvidia Gpus into its next-generation flagship mobile processors as early as 2024, according to a new report from DigiTimes.
In addition to co-developing mobile platforms to enhance the AI and gaming capabilities of Mediatek's processors, Mediatek and Nvidia will also work together on WOA (Windows on Arm) platform products for laptop applications, the sources said. This also means that we will likely see powerful ARM-based processors with Nvidia Gpus in the future.
Currently, most of Mediatek's Kun series chips targeted at the PC market are used for low-end Chromebooks. The latest Kun series chips are Mediatek Kun Kompanio 1380, which uses 6nm technology and has 8-core cpus, including 4 Cortex-A78 cores and 4 Cortex-A55 cores. Equipped with an Arm Mali-G57 MC5 GPU.
