Data from StatCounter show that in the desktop search market in mainland ChinaIn April 2023, Microsoft's Bing search share reached an all-time high of 37.4%, overtaking Baidu as the largest desktop search engine in China.
Baidu search's market share fell to 27.01%, a gap of 10 percentage points.

Microsoft has also been introducing the latest technology to Bing. On February 8th this year, New Bing searched for an updated version of the AI model GPT3.5, and on March 15 this year, Microsoft confirmed that the new Bing search engine was running GPT-4.
Recently, Mustafa & middot; Suleiman, co-founder of Google's artificial intelligence subsidiary DeepMind, warned that the familiar Internet of mdash;— will be fundamentally changed and ldquo; old-fashioned & rdquo; search will die out within 10 years.
He says the search experience will evolve into conversational and interactive, which will have a huge impact on the future of the Internet and on everyone who relies on it for information and livelihood.
